CCATTests Research and Editorial Team

We are the small team behind CCAT Tests. We write the practice questions, the answer explanations and the guides on this site, and we check them against what Criteria Corp, the company that makes the CCAT, publishes about the test.

Our aim is simple: when you sit the real CCAT, nothing about the format, the timing or the question types should surprise you.

How We Write and Check Our Content

The rules every guide, question and explanation on this site follows.

Facts come from the test publisher

Format, timing and scoring facts are checked against Criteria Corp's own published material: 50 questions, 15 minutes, no penalty for a wrong answer, and an average raw score of about 24. If we cannot confirm a figure, we leave it out.

Every question has a worked answer

Each practice question comes with an explanation of how to reach the answer, not just the letter. Questions are written to match the style of the real CCAT, but they are our own and are not official CCAT questions.

We fix mistakes in the open

When a reader or our own review finds a wrong answer key or a confusing figure, we re-check it and correct it. Guides show the date they were last reviewed.

Independent of the test maker
